Giving and Accountability
Giving to the Special Angler Foundation is simple. You can give via PayPal, Check, or Credit Card (use the Donate button above). All donations are 100% tax deductible (via our IRS 501 (c) (3) status) and can be directed to the tournament of your choice. You may also donate to our general fund that helps cover our insurance costs and minimal office expense. We do not have paid staff and we maintain minimal overhead, so nearly 100% of all donations go to the mission of Special Angler.
Funds that go towards a specific tournament will be used to pay tournament entry fees and hire charters for Special Angler families fishing in the tournament. As needed, Special Angler will pay the additional cost the tournament bears to create a Special Angler Division (e.g., trophies and cash purse). As needed, we will help cover room and board for families travelling out of town to attend a tournament.

Special Angler is providing customized pro fishing shirts as a fundraiser. We are offering these shirts for $100 (one SA logo on front with locale) and $115 (additional SA logo on sleeve), of which 50% of the price is considered tax deductible. You can look great out on the water helping us promote the mission of Special Angler, or even consider a shirt as a wonderful gift for your fishing enthusiast!
You can customize the shirt with your own preferred fishing locale, e.g., "Cape Charles, VA", "Key West, FL", "Oregon Inlet, NC", etc.. See posted samples on our Facebook page.
